On December 5, 2006, after presenting students with awards on “How to be a Good Citizen”, Common Pleas Judge Paula A. Rosciolia> administered the oath to thirty-eight (38) prospective citizens that represented twenty-four (24) separate countries.

Judge Roscioli’s efforts were accompanied by the League of Women Voters, Northampton County Bar Association and students, Taylor Jeavons and Katherine Kpaelsohn, who sang the Stars Spangled Banner and played the harp throughout the program.  The event was followed by a reception hosted by the Bar Association in Courtroom No. 3.

Despite the immigration process being conducted twice annually for several years, it is always a joyous event for the Court, participating organizations and the newly inducted citizens of our country.
