REPORTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL JURORS SUMMONED FOR MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2012 --

If your summons date is MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2012 ----please be sure to read this message regarding reporting--

In order to determine whether or not you must appear for Jury Duty, please look at the juror number you received in the mail within the past few days--that 4 digit number will begin with 1, 2,or 3 zero's. Disregard any of the BEGINNING zero's and read the rest of that number. That becomes your juror number. For example, if your 4 digit number is 0059, disregard the beginning zero's--your juror number would be 59.

Jurors starting with the number ____1_____through and including ___248 ___are to report on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2012 at 9:00 AM.

ALL OTHER JURORS ARE EXCUSED WITH THE THANKS OF THE COURT.

IF YOUR NUMBER WAS TOO HIGH AND YOU WOULD STILL LIKE TO SERVE, YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO APPEAR ANYWAY.

All Jurors are to appear at the Northampton County Courthouse at 7th & Washington Streets by 9:00 AM However, it is suggested that you plan to arrive early, PARKING IS AT A GREAT PREMIUM. Please refer to the parking locations on the map sent to you on the bottom portion of your summons. After parking, please enter the Courthouse at the main entrance at the corner of 7th and Washington Streets. Once you have entered, proceed through Sheriff's Security and follow signs for initial check-in and orientation to be conducted at 9:00 AM in the JURY LOUNGE on the first floor of the Courthouse complex. Please DO NOT report to a courtroom. Jurors will remain in the JURY LOUNGE until needed in a courtroom.

Please bring with you the bottom portion of your summons with the bar code and map on it for collection when you check in.

In the event of inclement weather in the morning, please check this announcement or call the numbers of 610-559-6736 or 610-559-6737 or the web site www.nccpa.org or check WFMZ at wfmz.com or Channel 69 news on your local cable before leaving home for the most recent information regarding reporting.

You are welcome to bring your own reading materials. There is a microwave and a refrigerator available for your use in the Jury Lounge. Coffee and tea will be provided.

You may purchase breakfast, lunch and snack items at the Courthouse cafeteria.

You will receive more information during orientation.
