Judge Paula A. Roscioli

Paula A. Roscioli was elected Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Northampton County on November 8, 2005, and was sworn into office on January 4, 2006. Judge Roscioli was previously the Administrative Judge of Criminal Court and currently serves as the Administrative Judge of Domestic Relations.

Judge Roscioli was the presiding judge for the Northampton County Grand Jury empaneled from 2010 through 2012. She is currently the supervising judge for the Northampton County Mortgage Foreclosure Diversion Program.

Judge Roscioli graduated from Moravian Academy in 1983, Lafayette College in 1987, and the Dickinson School of Law in 1990. She was admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1990.

From 1990 until her installation as judge, Judge Roscioli was in private practice with her father, Gene F. Roscioli, Esquire.

In addition to her private practice, Judge Roscioli was a Prosecutor for the Northampton County District Attorney's Office. In the years preceding her election as judge, she served as the Chief Violent Crimes Prosecutor and First Deputy District Attorney.

Throughout her legal career, Judge Roscioli has been active in numerous associations. She was a member of the Pennsylvania District Attorney's Association, Northampton County Drug and Alcohol Commission, Criminal Justice Curriculum Committee at Northampton Community College, Creative Kids Club Board of Directors, Sons of Italy, Moravian Academy Board of Trustees, Moravian Academy Alumni Board and American Inns of Court. Judge Roscioli is also a member of the Northampton County Bar Association and was elected to serve on its Board of Governors in 2003.

Judge Roscioli frequently lectures at schools regarding bullying, cyber safety, and drug and alcohol prevention. She also teaches an annual class at the Pennsylvania State Police Southeast Training Center. Judge Roscioli serves as a mentor to high school and college students interested in the law by offering internships and shadowing opportunities.
