The Co-Parenting Education (COPE) Program, initiated in Northampton County in 1992, is aimed at reducing the negative impact of divorce on children, while helping parents remain sensitive to the children's needs. The facilitator presents a 90 minute program focusing on the challenges for parents, the impact of issues on children, and special problems all children face. The program costs $25.00 for each participant and is held the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Human Services Building, 2801 Emrick Boulevard, Bethlehem, PA, 18020.
Anyone (other than children) may accompany the parent to the program as a guest or interested party for an additional fee. CHILDREN ARE NOT TO BE BROUGHT TO THE COURTHOUSE FOR THE PROGRAM.
